I'm trying to run a copy of Rockman DASH (AKA Megaman Legends) and it's fine until around the halfway point at the Cardon Forest Subgate. As soon as I remove the shield from the yellow defractor, the game just freezes, or more accurately, loops the animation of the defractor sparkling.
I'm playing directly from my disc, not from ISO and I'd never noticed the game skip or struggle at that point on my actual console so I'm not sure if it's a dirty disc, a hardware issue or a problem with the emulator. I'm also having the infamous sound issues, but I did a search on that and I can deal. ![]() Any help with figuring this out would be greatly appreciated. And so far, I am loving this emulator; I've been unable to play all my Japanese imports for a long time and finally I can play them again. |

been here? there's a lot of generic stuff there to try, like using software GPU, no save states, different emulators, etc..

Actually I hadn't ... thanks for the link, I'll see what I can find.
![]() And apologies for not seeing that first, I noticed a lot of people seem to write the same questions here, sorry for adding to it.

Playing it from an ISO worked. Sorted out the majority of the sound issues too, though I had to barrel through a fair number of programs to find one that worked (ended up with Magic ISO).
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, thought it would be worth mentioning the (fairly obvious) solution for future searches. |
