FF9 Goes Black

Hi yes another ff9 problem but myne is hard to crack i think...
I have just started using Emulators about a month ago after my Psx failed and it has been working great (thanks to Epsxe)
so far i have played Emporers New Groove, FF8, and FF7
But i just cant seem to get FF9 working no matter what. It goes to fullscreen then sits their black not doing anything.
Now me being me played around with a few settings and it did absolutely Nothing.
i have tried ePSXe 1.5.2 and 1.6.0 but they didnt make a difference
i have tried tons of other plugins which dont do anything either.
Now this is the weird thing... My FF8 and FF7 are both Platinum and when i stic them in they come up nothing on the disc but FF9 comes up Folders and an .IMG file.

I would really like some help Pls cause my FF9 is one of my best games.

My Pc Specs are as...

AMD Duron 1.31 GHz
128 MB Ram
Win Xp Home (no Service Pack as it slows pc Down)
16 Mb Nvidia TNT AGP
10 Gig HD
CD Player

any Helpl Would Be Thankful
and please if its an easy soluion im a noob so its not my fault

it's irrelevant whats on the FF9 disc. its still the PSX disc, regardless of what files you can or cant access with explorer.

anyway, your rig is pretty crappy.

you can try Pete's OGL plugin (software framebuffer access on) and Eternal Lite for SPU.

if it really wont work, try Peops software GPU, eternal lite, Xeven's CD plugin, and attempt ePSXe 1.5.2, PSXeven, SSSPSX, and PCSX.

And FF9 could need a ppf patch.

BTW:FF7 and FF8 files are HIDDEN, turn the option "Show hidden files" in the explorer and you will see the files.

or you could create a Subchannel file using P.E.Op.S. CDR Driver which was what I did seeing my ePSXe crashes whenever I try to use a PPF Patch

cause i am using Petes d3d driver... Like i was before
but im using the patch and that cd plugins you recomended earlier and it worked FINE too
also i get to use cheats so im happy

help!! this concerns in the FF9 game...
when they started boarding the cargo ship at the town where there
are loads of windmills in the movie part...
it just froze for no reason...
i dunno why? i tried everything. even changing the 1st ISO to he second... can some one help? or ell me what's wrong? please...
