What game are you trying to play?
Make the ISO with the Alcohol 120% with the playstation profile + .ccd option.
For Cd plugin use Mooby 2 cd disk image driver?

Btw: It is ePSXe and not epsexe.

neo_mx: try remaking the ISO, try a different program, like Alcohol 120%, CloneCD, or ISObuster. does the game work off the original CD?

You can run PSX ISOs from DAEMON tools and use an ePSXe ASPI CD plugin, but you have to use DAEMON Tools 3.47, v4 lacks the ASPI layer emulation.

That's an alternative method, but a longer process.
I HIGHLY RECOMMAND using the Run ISO command directly from ePSXe.

Why bother using DAEMON Tools? Lol.

wait if your going to make an ISO of the game, why would you need a CD plugin still? And also for some reason CloneCD doesnt really do that great of a job making ISO. I say this becuz I followed one of the sticky that teaches you how to make ISO then use it to burn a copy of the game, and my game turn out ok (graphic and sound) but my controller doesnt seem to work with both the ISO and the burnt CD. I tried it twice and same thing happened. Twice becuz the process was long for me.

fireblaster_lyz: you'd use Dtools to get CDDA audio. also, some people are lame.

leo: you dont need a CD plugin still, but you gotta pick something to appease the emulator. it wont use it, but still.

also, CloneCd has worked well for thousands of people (including me). maybe its the fact that you made a burnt CD to make an ISO? (aka not the original) or maybe you just didnt press F5 to change controller modes? anyway, i doubt CloneCD was the problem. if you really care, make a thread.

Even the ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2 has no issues with images. neo_mx when you create ISOs mount them on a virtual drive, then use the "run cdrom" option. To answer your question, yes both Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120% can be used.
