Crash Team Racing major problem

Every time I try to play CTR, I'll get to the main menu, from there I'll try Adventure or Time Trial or anything else, I can select my character, (And in Adventure mode I get to the course selection...) once I try to load the actual game however it gives me an error message: "OPCODE 27 UNK (PC 000ac40c) (16238,35)" Can anyone help me? I have a 1.75 GHz AMD and an ATI 9700 Pro with 128 megs. And RAM I've only got 256 but that should be enough to play CTR right? Thanx for the help!

are you using ePSXe 1.6.0? IIRC there was a fix for CTR in that version...

try using PSXeven or SSSPSX.

are you playing off CD or ISO?

I am using the ISO, the latest version of ePSXe and thats the only game that has a problem... maybe a bad rip? I'll try those other emulators. I dunno what IIRC is. Did you mean IRC? I've never had that before. Thanx

could be a bad rip, just rerip the ISO. maybe with a different program too.

IIRC = If I Recall Correctly

in fact, the very first answer under the very first page of a google search of "IIRC" would've told ya too.
