FF7 Problem

This happens with all the games but i really wanna play FF7 right now so im gunna focus on it. I have ePSXe and Delta2 both of which are configured (so they say). When I try to open FF7 (or any game) it opens ePSXe into the corner of my screen and thats it. Everything seems to be in order though. If i click on File -> Run BIOS its opens the old PSX menu screen but i cant get any games to actually run. Am i doing somthing wrong or do i need somthing else? any help would be much appreciated

P.S. Im sry if this has already been posted i tried the search and i didnt come up with anything i thought would be usefull.

Run CD? and have the cd plugin set to the correct drive

you must run CD, not bios :P
running bios is mostly to be able to test if epsxe is booting at all.

Or running Savestates...Don't forget the savestates!

You cant run save states unles you have created save states... which requires running the game first duh!

that's not entirely true. you can make save states of the BIOS
