Xenogears Disc 2 (Minor Spoilers)

When Id and Khan are fighting, there is a long sequence in Fei's mind. When Id is about to show Fei "everything" the screen changes to the countdown sequence - except it just freezes at 10. Unfortunately I saved my state a few dialogues before this happens, and the F7 trick isn't working. Any way around this?

First of all, load from memory card.
Second of all, I believe you can get through that scene without F7 (and, in fact, F7 crashes that scene), but I might be wrong.

Thanks, but if I load it up from my memory card, then go through the painfully long dialogue, then what do I do if I'm not required to use F7?

Well I'm probably wrong so use F7 at the beginning of the dream scene. As for skipping the pain, press :
delete, home, home, page down, home. Wait for cutscenes to finish and to restore to normal speed : home, page up, home, delete.

Thanks. Unfortunately, my bad luck continued, as I discovered that either I received a virus that deleted all of my drivers, or it was a hacker. Either way, it looks like I'm going to have to reboot my Windows XP, so all of my Xenogears data will be gone. *SIGH*

Now here's a followup request - does anyone, anyone, have a save state anywhere around where I'm at in Disc 2? Really, anything from the beginning of disc 2 to before the Final Dungeon becomes available. That'd be great. This totally pisses me off.
