Digimon World1 problem

When I played this game, ePSXe worked great on it. After I won a battle, it will show the points that my monster increase and the money I got. I can press X to skip measuring on PS. However, I cannot press X to skip it on PC by using ePSXe, I need to look it to measure.

I try it on VGS, I can press X to skip measuring.
If I want to use ePSXe to play, what can I do?

My English is not good, I hope you can understand.

You sure?
Check where you have mapped the X button to.
