Configuration files for popular games

Sorry to publish in this thread, but i don`t think anuone else cares about old games...I have a problem with Breath of Fire 3. The game runs perfectly until i reach the other side of the sea. when i go out of the first city (i can`t recall it`s name now) i see a history part in a camp at night, then, the game puts the screen in black and crashes (the first time i did it the music played, but the other times it didn`t)...i don`t know what to do...

I jsut wanted to say THANK YOU to Beta!
For the first time ever, I can play FF7 on MY PC without there being annoying blue and red 'outlines' all over the place... I'd always given it up as jsut one of quirks I'd have to deal with if I wanted to play FF7 on my PC... though it was getting to the point where I was considering hauling my PSX and TV in here... c_c; (I need to keep close eye on my email most of the time... I'm not that addicted :P) Anywya.. THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Just one quick question. Some games that arent already pre-configured with the game have to be reselected to work. is there a specific name that teh program searches for?

i haven't tried this yet, since i'm not currently playing any of the games which profiles were provided for. and these are the current games on my to-do list.

i have noticed that there aren't too many changes that need to be made between games.

DarkZero123, take a hint. we know you download games. you don't understand. besides the fact that downloading games is illegal, when you download them, sometimes stuff is stripped out to make a smaller download, like the MDECs or CDDA audio. so your crapass downloaded version probably has chopped out mdecs. simple as that.

so stop posting it. i'll help you out with that. you're banned for a week. if, when you come back, you still seek advice for Nightmare Creatures 2 or any other downloaded game, you will be permanently banned.

hey just curious, tried the delta, not too shabby but in the end i just opted to go old school. so i uninstalled it. here's the sitch.

after installing there's a link that looks like the my comp icon. i deleted it. also noticed that everytime i start my pc, my computer opens automatically. the only thing i installed recently was delta, and after checking startup there it was, the my comp icon.

so just curious, wth was that for? please and thank you.

I've got this configuration:
Video: Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.49
Sound: P.E.Op.S. Dsound Audio Driver 1.9
CD-Rom: P.E.Op.S. CDR Driver 1.4

This i find, for a normal "NOT SO HIGH END" pretty usable, and i'm playing FFIX(example) without any problems.. Only if i had more games then 20

SOTN is easy, just use a software plugin. For Suikoden, try the "nice" preset. If you still need help make your own thread.

Keep in mind that you can make your own profile after you find an optimal config. Most games work great just with the Nice preset in Pete's plugins and Eternal SPU.

There is no health bars in the game only the atb guage the yellow thingy that goes up and when it is full it is that chars turn.

I am trying to play FF7 but when I use the configuration and run the game, the screen just stays black and nothing happens. I'm using the pec cheat plugin but it is using the OpenGL plugin as well. I have an NVIDIA Geforce4 MX 440, P3 700 mhz, and 512mbs of ram btw.

Perhaps someone can help me. I started playing FF6 the other day (from the FF Anthologies CD). I started a new game and played a few hours with no problem. Now when I load up the game it plays the opening video, but when it is supposed to goto the main menu "load, new game, etc' the screen goes black and I can't do anything. Any thoughts? I tried using these Delta settings to no avail. I'm on a core duo 2.0 with a 256 mb nvidia graphics card if that matters at all

Double-check the CD.
Activate logs and check what's written in the command prompt.

Could be a read error.
