Need for Speed: High Stakes

Hi. I'm having a little problem trying to run this game. The gameplay is fine, but I almost can't control the cursor in the menus. With some patience, you finally select what you want, but it's annoying to do it every time you have a menu. Just to avoid possible posts, this has never happened before, with other games. I'm using ePSXe v.1.6.0, and I'm playing off an image. I'll be waiting for possible answers or even if there's no answer for this little thing. Thank you for reading.

That's odd, I just tried it in 1.6.0 and the menus were perfect. Are you using a controller or the keyboard?

Well, I'm using a controller, the FPS limit is enabled and I don't use frame skipping.

Try hitting F5 to see if that stops it from spazzing out. What control mode (digital or analog) is it normally in?

Brilliant. I haven't tried pressing F5 yet. The menus are just fine now. Thank you.
By the way, just not to leave it without an answer: I use digital mode. Although my controller supports the analog mode, ePSXe just crashed when I tried to use it on Driver.
