Final Fantasy 8 battle problem

Whenever I get into a battle, the commands at the bottom of the screen and the names, HP, etc. don't appear. Is there any way to fix that?

The questions marks mean: "What the heck are you talking about?"

Bios:bios\Scph1001.bin
Video:Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.57
Sound:Eternal SPU Plugin 1.10
Cdrom:Pete's CDR ASPI/IOCTL Driver 1.9

You are using an outdated plugin. I suggest you download Pete's OpenGL v1.75
