Transparency issue in Xenogears.

Hello. I've decided to start Xenogears again and I have a a slight but annoying problem. I am working with Pete's plugins, and I would like to know which would be best to fix my transparency problem. When i start, it shows the Xenogers title and the red X. I go to start a game, and I get a pure black screen with the 3 options. Also, when I pause the game, the Paused bar doesn't show. I also go into the menu, and I get the menu, but instead of the background, I get a black screen. Again this is just a large pet peeve, and if anyone is willing to help me, I thank you!

I have it up to 4 - Extended now,a nd I now get a pause screen, although it is all black, and the pause is in the upper left hand corner of the screen. The transparency issue hasn't been resolved with the title, Although i do get a ghost image of the main options when i go to load my game.

Posting your current configs will help. Make sure alpha multipass, mask bit and advanced blending are turned on.

IIRC thhgis is a known, unsolvable issue in HW plugins.

Do any of you know where I can get a working version of the Xenogears ROM? I've beaten the crap out of Xenosaga Episode 1, and I figured I'd play Xenogears. So if anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it.
