Final Fantasy IX slow battles

I have slow battles, interrupted, and also interrupted music. At the game start, there is some interruption as well. How can I change this? I used this config: http://www.lordkane.co.uk/epsxeconfigs.php

I have winme and videocard TNT2NVIDIA

alright dude, this is your third thread in a row on FF9. try to keep it to one thread, eh? we dont need a ton of threads about the same game (especially by the same person) floating around.
