ace combat 3 blocky black exhaust??

the exhaust or jet engine fire stuff, messes up if i use petes d3d. it gets black and blocky. i have the newest plugin. his opengl does it too. any ideas on what to do??

It's hard to say what your problem is without knowing your pc specs and also plugin settings.

Are you running the game off an iso or the cd?

With more info, somebody should be able to help out.

I believe the exhaust uses the framebuffer so you might need to mess with those settings. I haven't played the game in a while so I'm not sure.

it was something in pete's plugin already. memory fuzzy... uhm,
the "enhanced - shows more stuff" thing should be set lower.

That sounds like the offscreen drawing setting.
