are you using the PAL version? if so, you need to download a PPF patch to make it work, you can get them here at ngemu. Also, you have to use epsxe 1.5.2

are you sure you're using it properly? are you using pete's cdr plugin? i'm not sure, but i think you need to create an SBI file to make it work, and you can do that with pete's cdr plugin.

post your system specs/plugin configs. you may have to turn down a lot of settings, update your gfx card drivers, or try a different plugin to get decent speeds.

To post your GPU plugin settings, go into the plugin config window and hit the "Copy settings to clipboard" button in the lower right corner then post it here.

Try turning off filtering and high res textures. If it's still slow, try Pete's normal OpenGL plugin instead.

so...you are or your aren't using the PAL version? you never answered that.

if you are using the PAL version, you probably dont have your CD plugin configured correctly. my suggestion is just to make an ISO with subchannel data (try Alcohol 120% or CloneCD).

if you arent using a PAL version, then try using a CD plugin like Sapu's which autoconfigures.

lastly, turn off "keep PSX aspect ratio"

It means something went wrong with the emulation . Did that happen during a movie? Are you using ePSXe 1.5.2?

My guess is that you are using ePSXe 1.6.0. Use 1.5.2
