FF9 problem

I have only a burned copy of FF9 and it won't start. I'm using ePSXe emulator. I have all plugins needed to start the game. When I press run CDROM i see a white screen and the game won't start. Is this because the burned copy. I dont have the original but i want to play this fantastic game
