Ff8 Disk 3 Freezing!

I have been putting hours into FF8 and i made it to disk 3 and squall and that girl have just took off in those capsul thingys and zell and the others are in that city with all the gizmos n gadgets in it and i am suppose to get a certain point before this timer goes and i get into a battle and then it just makes the battle noises and theres a black screen its been running beautiful up untill then

idk what to do my settings are

try putting fb texture on 0, and fb access on 4

Try switching to Pete's OpenGL plugin and try setting offscreen drawing to 2 or 3. Have you tried making an ISO of the CD?
