Exclamation Please! Help a newbie...

Hi!

EPSXe 1.5.2 is the first emulator for PSX that I try and I have a little problem. It is not in the configuration, but I don’t know where I should correct this. When I run a CD (original), it gave me these messages in the MS-DOS window:

* Running ePSXe emulator version 1.5.2.
* Memory handler init.
* ePSXe: PSX BIOS loaded [bios\SCPH1001.BIN].
* Init Core W9x cdrom … ok
* First/Last track: 1 1
* Track 1: (DATA) - Start 0: (00,02,00) – Length 36:27
* NTSC cdrom detected.
* Doing init gpu[0]…
* Gpu open[0]…
* Direct input init ok.
* Init core spu … ok
* Pad Digital enabled.

It seems that the game will play (because the CD is running fast), but the screen remain all black. I make this test with Final Fantasy IV (from Final Fantasy Chronicles).
My computer has the following components:

AMD Duron Processor, 900 MHz
512.0 Mo RAM
NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 Model 64
Avance AC’97 Audio
I got the Pete OpenGL2 plugin.

Thank you for helping!

-_- Pete's OpenGL2 plugin is for DirectX 9.0 cards. and IINM your TNT2 isnt DX9
try Pete's OpenGL or PEOPs soft GPU. you should get better results.

I'd recommend using Pete's Direct 3d as well, it gets a higher framerate on my TNT2 than Pete's Open GL. You should try and compare those two

Good luck.
