How do I smooth the text in FF7?

I am using the FF7 config from the Delta frontend with petes opengl plugin and would like to know what I have to change to smooth the text in the game.

You can't without causing graphics errors elsewhere in the game.

Fair enough, butI would like to know for other games. Does smoothing the text cause errors on the other two Final Fantasy games?

Well it depends really. The best smoothing of text you will get in Pete's OpenGL is Filtering - 6 and 2xSai on. This can cause problems at the edges of textures tho.

try setting filtering at 4 and the hi-res textures to 2 (stretched). that should look good in FF7.
