FF6 error saving

I get the following runtime error when I try to save on the memcard anytime after entering Kefka's Tower:
Opcode 3f UNK (PC 00000000) (7111388,4)
This error occurs even when I try to save the system file after beating the game.

Also, after the ending fmv I get the following error:
SPEC Opcode 35 UNK (PC 001f0004) (001f0000) (7124159,7)

Any help would be appreciated.

I use version 1.6.0 of epsxe (also tried with 1.5.2) with:
P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.16
Eternal SPU Plugin Lite 1.41
ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2.
SCPH1001 bios
