I need help about Need for speed 4: high stakes

Hi

I need a little help about Need for Speed 4. I use the epsxe emulator v1.6.0. The game runs very well, but when I in the competition where are the tacks raceway, raceway 2 & raceway 3.

In the track raceway, I think is in where turn a big curve ( I don't know if is that word) you go straight, then suddenly the track is disapearing and all of the cars start fly!!!!. I have used another emulator such as PSXeven, Pcsx, Conectix virtual game station and Emurayden (that emulator is a remix of the CVGS) and all of them happen the same thing.

I hpe that you guys can solve this trouble 'cause this a good racing game.

My configuration in epsxe is:

-video
psx emulation cheater 2.5
-P.E.Op.S. soft driver 1.16
*device primary
*fullscreen mode 1027x768
*color depth 32 bits
*window mode 640x480
*stretching: stretch to full window size
*dithering: always dither g-shaded polygons (slowest)
*framerate:I use only fps limit and fps limit (10-200): 60fps, the other options I don't use them.
*scanline mode: scanlines disabled , the other options I donīt use them

-sound
epsxe spu core 1.5.2
sound enable, sound enable CDDA and sound enable XA are in use

-cdrom
I don't use the cdrom, I use ISOs

-bios
scph7502.bin

My computer configuration in hardware is:
-amd athlon xp 2400
-512 MB ram
-motherboard is ASUS A7N266-VM SE/LAN
-windows millenium

Here are my advices :
1)Use eternal SPU for the sound
2)Which video card do you have ?
-->Your problem may come from the video plugin

Try Pete's DX6 D3D plugin, it might work with your onboard graphics chip. What graphics chip does your motherboard have?

After a quick search on the Asus website I discovered that the graphics chip that Asus advertises for your motherboard is a GeForce 2 core.

See: http://usa.asus.com/products/mb/sock.../overview.htm#

This is probably decent enough to run the game with either Pete's D3D or OpenGL plugin. Switching to one of these plugins may fix your problem, so give it a shot.

However, since you have tried it on other emulators(most notable are CVGS and Emurayden since they definitely weren't using the same Graphics plugin) it's quite possible your problem lies elsewhere.

Try running the game directly from the CD(or making a new ISO from the CD) and see if you have the same error.
