No WGL Extensions Error with FF7 Platinum

I'm trying to load FF7 platinum and when I click RunfromCDROM it gives me that error. I am using epsxe160 and the following:

bios: scph9002 - PAL
video: Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.5
audio: P.E Op.S DSound Audio Driver 1.7
CDRom: P.E Op.S CDR Driver 1.4

I have an AMD XP 2200+, 120 gig 7200rpm hdd, Radeon 9500pro and 512 DDR Ram. Running windows XP.

Any help appreciated.

No. It is the legal FF7 Platinum from squaresoft. Three disks + the FF8 preview.

interesting...i've never heard of a FF7 platinum...sorry at first i was confused.

try using the SCPH1001 or 7502 BIOS, Eternal 1.41 for sound and make sure Peops CDR is configured correctly.

you have a 9500pro, so OGL2 is a good choice.

Plugin: Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.5
Author: Pete Bernert
Card vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
GFX card: Stinger/emulated by GeForce FX 5600/AGP/SSE/3DNOW!

Resolution/Color:
- 640x480 Window mode
- Internal X resolution: 1
- Internal Y resolution: 2
- Keep psx aspect ratio: off
- No render-to-texture: off

- Filtering: 0
- Hi-Res textures: 0
- TexWin pixel shader: off
- VRam size: 128 MBytes

Framerate:
- FPS limitation: on
- Frame skipping: off
- FPS limit: Auto

Compatibility:
- Offscreen drawing: 1
- Framebuffer effects: 3
- Framebuffer uploads: 2

Misc:
- Scanlines: off
- Mdec filter: off
- Screen filtering: on
- Shader effects: 0/1
- GF4/XP crash fix: off
- Game fixes: on [00000002]

try those settings to start with...you may need to turn off screen filtering, and you may want to try some texture filtering, but beware some settings produce nasty green outlines.

Thanks. I will try these settings tomorrow and let you know how I get on.

I'm from the UK and older PS1 games are called "platinum" they get a new box because they are old classics. Thus FF7 Platinum is the one I have.

Something like 6 years ago i went to london and bought FFVII Platinum, i had no problem with epsxe, it runs perfectly.

EDIT: I just found this, it's right from Pete, hope it helps.
