Xenogears Problem

I'm sorry if this is the wrong board for posting such things, if it is just tell me where it should be and I'll go there and ask.

Anyway, my ePSXe keeps freezing up in the same spot whenever I play. It's just before Fei ends up in the Kislev jail. If anyone knows any way around the emulator freezing it would be much appreciated.

Oh and if it's critical the emulator slows down before freezing and ends up just coming to a stop.

Thanks for any help you guys can give.

does it freeze or does it just get unbelievably slow? if it just slows down try switching GPU plugins... I have had major issues in 152 with xenogears like that... can you post some system specifications and configuration info?
