Problem with Chrono Cross recognizing memcards after using SS's =(

i have this problem with chrono cross. i used the memcard save, then savestates. seems to not have messed up castlevania or any of the FF games i play just Chrono cross, and i can load the memcard in the bios fine

now when i try to save/load to the memcard after loading a savestate it just sits there, trying to access the memcard forever =( i can load the memcard in the bios, just the savestate seems to think there isnt a memcard to play with =(

got PSXmemtool, loaded the save state, saw the 2 memcards are in the savestate, tried to save the memcard and thats how i was able to load the game, althout the last save i did was something like 20 hours previously =(

i did a search and found few suggestions i could try short of getting someone to fix this for me, as ppl were offering in a similar thread with a similar problem with a FF game,

if anyone could gimme a hand fixing this id appreciate it =) bah just saw i cant attach the SS =(

You could post a link to your save, and I could try, but there are no guarentees.

searching for somewhere i can host it, if it''d be faster to do it via email, drop me a yell @ bloodbow@hotmail.com

i ve tried a few things myself with no luck =(

i managed to be able to switch to disc 2 without being forced to save the game, that suprised me, but ive got no chance of new game+ i dont think without the save being recoverable =(

well remember, some stuff flat out doesnt work at all with save states. for example, Metal Gear Solid, upon loading of save states, is mute of all sound except sound effects. nothing i can do about it except just use memory card saves. and i think thats waht you are gonna have to do...

get this:
http://psxmemtool.ngemu.com
play around with that. it can open savestates and get memory cards out/in etc
It's a bit complicated tho
I had a similar issue with lunar 2 and all i had to do was reset the game, and in the beginning save to memory card and then it DID work in the savestate. Very strange so stry that
