Dragon Warrior 7 -- lock-up after beating boss?
I haven't experienced a lot of the other problems complained of here when emulating this game. One that has vexed me a bit, however, is that the game locks up after I beat Orgodemir at the end of the game. So, no recognition, no gloating, no bonus dungeons to blow off steam. I tried it twice with the standard OpenGL plugin, and once with PEOPS software. No luck. I don't think it's a plugin issue, frankly.
The nature of the lock-up is also a bit strange. The game freezes, of course, and it is impossible to ESC out to the EPSXE load-up screen either. The only thing that works in ALT-Tab to ePSXecutor, with a following alt-ctrl-del to close epsxe. Any thoughts? Anyone else experienced this? My settings follow. Although I doubt it matters, I have a BX system with a Powerleap 1.4 Celeron upgrade, Geforce 4 4200 with 128 MB, and an Aureal Quadzilla sound card.
