Question Tomb Raider sound

Hailz all.

I'm having a problem with Tomb Raider. No matter which plugins/bioses I've tried, the in-game music and voice-overs do not play at all. Any ideas?
My default plugins:
ePSX1.6.0
Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.72
(I've tried many others, including Pete's newest)
[color=red]Eternal SPU Plugin 1.41[/color or ePSXe SPU core 1.5.2
ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2.
SCPH7502.BIN, 1000, 1001

Thanks in advance!

go to Config--->Sound and make sure the top 3 boxes are checked.

Already done. No joy, the problem I have occurs regardless of what combination of those 4 boxes are checked, but thanks anyways

Are you playing the game with an ISO or straight off of the CD? If you're playing with an ISO, try remaking it with a program such as Alcohol 120% or ISOBuster.

I'm running directly off the CD.

I have pretty much the same plugin setup and am having the same problems. I am using a legit "Greatest Hits" Tomb Raider cd in my drive and I get sound for FMV and regular game sound, but no sound for voice overs or in game music (with the top 3 boxes checked). This is also a problem on my copy of Tomb Raider 2.

O.K. Hopefully one of the devs will see this and take a look.

I've made an ISO with ISoBuster, but the sound problem persists.

Hmm, weird, the problem seems to have fixed itself. It's a tad grainy sounding, but otherwise okay. Sorry Starfire, I don't know what I did to get it to work other than reboot this afternoon :\

Well, glad to hear it's working for you. . Myself, I've given up, and am using my PSX to play it...too bad, cause it looks much nicer emulated.
