heya, i'm having some ugly ground texture issues in a specific battle bg in ToD2 (for those who have played it it happens to me in Celestia world map's grass/clear ground terrain battles) I'm attaching a pic of it anyway.
So the problem is that instead of getting the smooth textures battle grounds, i'm getting these vertical columns of tiles that don't belong. Again, included in the pic is a comparison of a 'normal' battle ground (exact same settings, around the same place cept in a forest) I've played with texture settings and I can't seem to find something that works with it. Any idea whats wrong? here are my settings btw (i disabled framebuffer access b/c there's a specific town which has major lag when its on, i tried enabling that for this problem as well but that didn't help) Lewpy's Glideł Plugin Configuration Information v1.40 ----------------------------------------------------- Computer Information OS : Microsoft Windows XP Professional (v5.1 Build 2600) DirectX : DirectX 10.0 installed Processor : AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2400+, 2008Mhz (1 off) (00/0681) 64kb L1-I, 64kb L1-D, 256kb L2 (on-chip) Memory : 256Mb Core Emulator ePSXe : C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\DEFAULT\DESKTOP\EPSXE152\EPSXE.EXE : 05/05/2002 20:32, 162304 bytes - v1.6.0(r) *------*----------------------*---------*------------------* | Type | Plugin Name | Version | Date | *------*----------------------*---------*------------------* | BIOS | scph1001.bin | | 11/07/1997 05:38 | | CDR | W2KCDRCORE | 0.0 | Plugin Not Found | | GPU | gpuLewGlide.dll | 1.40 | 13/07/2002 20:39 | | SPU | spuEternal.dll | 1.41 | 30/05/2003 00:44 | | NET | DISABLED | 0.0 | Plugin Not Found | *------*----------------------*---------*------------------* *-----------------------------*---------------------* | ePSXe Configuration Item | Current Setting | *-----------------------------*---------------------* | Auto Load PPF Files | Yes | | Country | AutoDetect | | SPU Sound Enabled | Yes | | SPU CDDA Enabled | No | | SPU XA Enabled | Yes | | SPU IRQ Hack | No | | CDR Drive Letter | E | | CDR W2k Subchan. I remember ToD2 had some large sprite rendering issues (to do with wrapping), so it may be something similar (but for quads, possibly).
Can you please send me a save-state while it is happening? I'll check it out. |
