Final Fantasy IV Freeze

so i just got this and i try to play it and when i get to the Start Game/Load Game screen and press a button it just freezes. I was thinking it was a scratch or something but i downloaded one off the net and its the same thing at the exact same spot. my stupid PSX broke and i cant play it until i figure out whats wrong........

shouldn't of said that. We do not support people who download illegal ROMS or ISOs
