running FF9 (PAL) ePSXe?
i know FF9 questions have been posted before, and i've been to different sites about my problem but turned up with no answers. So my problem is this, i have FF9 PAL version and i just get a black screen when I try to load it up from ISO or retail disc n ePSXe and PSXeven. I've tried different plug-ins but to no avail. Any help on this would be much appericated.
Thanks, Ant. |

Re: running FF9 (PAL) ePSXe?
Try reading the ePSXe docs, it's written right there...
to be short, you'll need either a PPF patch (I can't give the link cause the only site I know has illegal content) or use subchannel reading... or make your ISO with cloneCD if you wanna play from your drive... and don't delete the *.sub file

I have the same problem, but my version of FF9 PAL is Italian! I can't find a PPF file for the Italian version anywhere. Can someone help me?
The only thing I found for the Italian version is a set of 4 files with *.sib extension. How can I use them? (Anyway I'd prefer to find a PPF file )

Re: running FF9 (PAL) ePSXe?
So you mean *.sbi... just make an ISO of each CD, for example, and name the sbi the same way as the ISO (eg. FF9CD1.img and FF9CD1.sbi) load the ISO and play, unless your drive(s) support(s) subchannel reading

Yes, *.sbi, sorry for the mistake. I'll try this, then.
