Try the -pe2 parameter

else, it means that your CD is scratched/ISO corupted...
I went through it without a problem... my PE2 hangs somewhere else on the CD2 though :P

Are you using PEC? I had that same issue whenever I enable cheats on PE II , but whenever I disable them nothing wrong happens.

NTSC and PAL have the same effects, only the framerate changes

Re: If u think that u r really an emu pro don't just stand there GO AND HELP MEEEEEE

If anything the colours should be better in the PAL version.
NTSC has less colours and a lower resoloution than PAL, but has a higher default refresh rate. The best way to play games is in PAL 60. Standard PAL has the problem that it is either slow or has big borders (like widescreen) in order for it to play at the right speed. PAL 60 is crisp, colourful, full screen and full speed.

Re: If u think that u r really an emu pro don't just stand there GO AND HELP MEEEEEE

He, I always played my games in NTSC on the emu and patched PSX games (when I had a PSX)

Kane, thanks for the info, now I'll block every game to 60 fps in PAL

Re: If u think that u r really an emu pro don't just stand there GO AND HELP MEEEEEE

I'm actualy referring to games which have the 60Hz option on the PS2, Dreamcast, GC and X-Box. IIRC no PSX games have that option.

Re: If u think that u r really an emu pro don't just stand there GO AND HELP MEEEEEE

The cracking teams often add this option on PSX games.. for example, Paradox put it onn FF9 PAL

Re: Re: If u think that u r really an emu pro don't just stand there GO AND HELP MEEEEEE

Do you actualy READ what anyone posts or do you just splurt out the first thing that comes to your fractured little mind?
AS I SAID: PAL 60 is a standard which needs to be SPECIFICALY PROGRAMMED FOR BY THE DEVELOPERS OF THE DAMNED GAME. If they haven't added it, YOU CAN'T USE IT.

There's no true PAL 60 under epsxe, it's PAL 50, with FPS limitation set to 60 in the plugin

Which isn't anything like true PAL 60, as the gameplay speed will be faster than intended and the borders will remain intact.

That's true, I never said the opposite ...anyway, disabling "PSX aspect ratio" gives the same effect AFAIK

Not really as it can't add information that's not there.
It's like taking a 640x480 picture, cutting off 80 pels from the height and resizing it to 480 and claiming it's the same picture.
Infact, I've done it for you. Pic 1 would be the original, 2 would be what the developers make for pal 50, and 3 would be the stretched image you get from disabling the aspect ratio lock.
The PAL 60 picture would retain the original size
