Cant get the final ff9 movie to run

Just after you beat the necron guy, ´there´s supposed to be a long film sequence, right?

Well, the first few FMW run without a hitch, my problem starts right before zidane jumps back for kuja. The movie starts then it just freezes, and there´s a weird repetitive sound going on.

The specs are the following

Epsxe 1.60

Fullscreen 1024x768

Texture quality R8G8A8
Texture filtering 6
Hi-res textures 0
gfx card 0

Offscreen drawing 3
Framebuffer textures 3
Framebuffer acces 4

When i tried to run it on the 1.52 version it would not run at all, i tried with lower resolution and specs but it did not work, any ideas?

I had the same problem. Try using PSXeven... Manage the memory cards through the emulators, probably you´ll need to battle Kuja and that guardian again... and... you´ll enjoy the final scenes of FF9 (great game)

I know it might not be the case, but make sure that your CD is not scratched or something like that.

Try temporarily switching back to ePSXe 1.5.2. 1.6.0 has FF9 issues. It's seeing a psychiatrist tho, so it should be all better for the next version.

I managed to get it to run by using PSXeven.
