Trouble with CTR

Hey alla ya in the forums! I've been testing out ePSXe 1.6 for some time now, and I gotta say: It's the best PSX emulator out there. It's worked pretty well with all the games I've bothered to test it with, despite this nasty problem in CTR: Whenever I try to enter any track/race, it slaps an error note on my monitor and exits the game. Have any of you had this problem before?

EDIT: In case you need to know, I'm using the PAL version.

I Have the same Problem! Cvgs runs it just fine!

The PAL version is copy-protected and needs "subchannel data" reading in the cdr plugins (and of course the original cd is needed).

make an iso out of it with CloneCD so the subchannel data is saved with it

Unless your copy also contains the subchannel datas (which is rarely the case)... but anyway, you can try with a PPF patch

Umm...the file is 100% legal isn't it? I'm already legally screwed enough as it is.
