Re: Dead or Alive?

It works. You have to change the settings. I dont know what they are, though and I registered wanting to ask the same question. When I try to run it, my computer freezes so simply getting an error message isnt so bad. I have the "mini iso" of the game, which I assume you have as well.

A few months ago I had it working, but then I got tired of always having to monkey with the settings with this emulator and stopped using it. But the answer lies somewhere in the video settings. Im using Pete's D3D Driver 1.68 if anybody knows the answer to this.

i have the same error message

OS: WinXP Pro (32bits)
Running ePSXe 1.60
Video: Pete's D3D driver 1.74
Audio: ePXSe SPU cor 1.5.2
CD-Rom: ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2
Bios: scph101

i tested 2 methods, one with the original CD of DOA
an other with the ISO on my HDD

try using pete's OGL or D3D dx6, use eternal 1.41 SPU, and try Sapu's CDR plugin (it autoconfigures)

OK

i tried both video plugins, same result
Sapu CDR plugin doesn't change anything

My error message is:
Quote:
Opcode 15 UNK (PC0015ff8) (151,240)
What does that mean ?

Maybe i will try with an other emulator, but i guess Dead or Alive (PSX) works on ePSXe, isn't it ?

Re: Dead or Alive?

well ive only had one experience with an opcode error; i was playing final fantasy 9 with pete's OGL2 and whenever i went through a door i got one.

make sure you are NOT using save states. there's a bunch more plugins out there, try the other software ones...i dont know what kind of video card you have, if you have 3dFX try Lewpy's Glide

My problem is slightly different: my epsxe does read the game, but without the BGMs(music)! I'm dissapointed...Can you help me showing your emulator config, please?

man this thread is old...if you're addressing the original poster(s), good luck with them responding to you you might want to PM them, or at least start a new thread with your own problem.

just checking, did you check the top 3 boxes under Config-->Sound?
