Silent Hill, best configs, & controller prob
Greetings, I searched the forums for silent hill and couldn't find a controller problem regarding it, so here I am.
I can't get any keys to work in Silent Hill, except for the Del, Ins, PgUp, and PgDn keys that control ePSXe emulation itself. I also tried pressing F4 like it says in ePSXe help, but it didn't work. What confuses me is that I faced this problem for 2 or 3 times, then after restarting, probably after changing into other Video and Sound plugins, it worked for me, but I wanted to change the configuration of the keys, and exited, and ever since, I can't get the keys to work again. I simply can't control anything, and can't skip the movie in the very beginning. What do I do with this controller problem? Like I said, it already worked for me, but only once, and I can't get it to work again. And if anyone knows, please tell me what are the best Video and Sound plugins for ePSXe to work with Silent Hill, and what is the best configuration. Or at least refer me to a page that gives this configuration specific to Silent Hill. Kane's Domain, lordkane, had nothing for Silent Hill, btw. Thanks for anyone taking the time to help.

Silent Hill controller problem solved
Ok, I got it to work. For some reason, I had to pres F5, not F4. I have no idea why. But anyway, pressing F5 makes my keyboard keys function now. And I'm using Pete's video & sound plugins fine, 640x480, high resolution for everything, so things look smoother. I saw posts by people saying that the game wasn't supposed to look good or anti-aliased, etc, but I tried looking at it both ways, and I prefer the smooth anti-aliased sharp look. And I guess if you have control, then it's up to your personal taste.
