FF7 quits on me every half-hour or so... why?
FF7 just stops working about every half-hour and I have to restart ePSXe. The F1-save is still there but it's still very anyoing.

Have you tested to switch "Disable Screen Saver" option on? It disables also Power-saving modes, but doesn't work with Win95 or NT. It's in Misc. options.

Is your pc overclocked? Emus push systems to their limits. If it's clocked too high you might see this kind of behaviour. Knock it back bit to see if things improve.

BetaMax: My computer is not overclocked.
Titus03: No I haven't tried turning it off, because I can't find it. Note that it is only ePSXe that stops working, not the rest of the computer. It works just fine. Last edited by json84; September 7th, 2003 at 09:39. |

Re: FF7 quits on me every half-hour or so... why?
check if there is some one who played in scheduled tasks to close epsxe after 1/2 hour .
u can be sure of that if epsxe shuts after 1/2 hour with other games not ff7 only . but of course i'm not sure . |
