memory cards...

do dexdrive saves work with epsxe?

make sure to change the file extension though. that's all you have to do, change the extension to .mcr to make it easier on yourself

You should not need to change the dexdrive memory card file extension for it to work in ePSXe. Also, you cannot convert a dexdrive (gme) file to mcr by renaming it, a dexdrive file is larger and contains comments at the start of the file. If you want to convert it you need to use a conversion program like Aldos memory card manager or PSXevens (or even mine ).

You can also use epsxe executor to "import" the saves from the Dexdrive memory dump into a new epsxe memcard. This is great because it allows you to keep the original saves in the dexdrive memory and use the copied data in the epsxe memory card.

hmm....that's weird. i used to download saves from GameFAQS and then use PSXmemtool to convert the saves, but then one day yeloazndevil pointed out that all you have to do is change the file extension.

and it worked for me..

I was talking about the PSXeven mem cards not dex drive saves
