My problem is that epsxe ver 1.52 crashes (hangs) when I try to play as any hidden character (Han Myong, evil siegfried, sophitias I and II) >> I have no idea why thats happen. I checked out the cd (original) and it's without any scratch indicating possibility of this. I wonder if it's matter of epsxe itself or plugins (I use the latest). My PC is not overclocked nor overheated and well equipped with memory (512ddr ram, 3gb ata100 swap, 64ddr vram on gf 4 mx vivo), I'm running win 98se dx 9.0. That's the only game I have encountered problems during emulation on this great (and for me only one) psx emulator (vgs says that I should have at least pentium II to run, I have celeron 1,7GHz) Please help!

Please can ya post the settings of the plugin your using? Go to configure it and there will be a button that says copy settings to clipboard. Click that then paste it in here.

Petes has a new plugin too. http://www.ngemu.com/download.php?action=plugin&id=1 Get it. And try with the new epsxe and plugin. Then come back and if its still like that Ill see what I can do.

thnx, but now with new emu and plugins game seems not to work>>now, when I choose arcade mode and select ANY character it crashes with something like that "unread unk pc 0192209219 ..." etc.(

it's all in gpu plugin... slight changes cause game to work, but previous issue remains>> it hangs while playing as hidden character

Do you have certain options for you video card enabled that may cause slow downs? Like FSAA, AF or anything?

hmm. that bot the point game works (if i don't use speed limit over 300fps) fine but it hangs during the loading next battle (now there are same problems with certain normal characters like Rock)

I've seen that some bios files improving the game but although i have most of them and tried them all, the issue still remains and got worse since I started with new epsxe and new pete's opengl plugin

Try the default settings. For Nice then quality and test em both. See if it fixes any of the problems at all then we will know for sure if it is indeed the gpu plugins.

heh, new feature used in petes new gpu caused game to cooperate >> TV cushion after ticking that option i managed to play as siegfried and han myong (sophitias are still out of reach as well as dreaming of winning arcade mode with those characters as game still hangs after 2nd-3rd battle)

Its a petes plugin that uses software and NOT hardware. I think Kane is trying to figure out if its a particular plugin or something.
