Does anyone know if this game can work on epsxe?

It starts an everything, but after i chose a place to skate at, it goes to a black screen and nothing happens. I use the plugins: scph1001 - USA, Pete's DX6 D3D Driver 1.72, Eternal SPU Plugin 1.20, ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2. My comp is an emachines, 2.4 ghz p4, 512 mb of ram, ATI Radeon 9000: 64 mb, 80 gb of hd space.

I never bothered to get this to work ( check the help file

) because i was already playing this game in 1964. Try different video drivers. What settings are you using? With a ATI Radeon 9000, why not use the D3D or OpenGL driver instead of the DX6 D3D Driver?

What are your settings in the plugins? OpenGL would work best with that card. The gpu plugins are at version 1.73 and the eternal spu is at version 1.41 so it would be a good idea to update. Do you have spu irq hack enabled? If so, try disabling it. You can also try a different cdrom plugin such as peops cdr plugin, xeven's cdr plugin or sapu's plugin. The peops plugin has a lot of options to mess around with for better speed and xeven's auto configures so you don't have to touch anything. I haven't used sapu's plugin before but other ppl here have said that it is easy to use and has a lot of options.

that happened to me....when it loaded a level, it was at a black screen. just press X and it will go. basically, the screen where it shows how many tapes you need to collect doesnt load right and is shown as black.

so when you load the level...wait a few seconds for it to load and press X
