Okay here's something to throw at you people. I have been waiting forever to play this game again. I beat it the first time i had it...well sort of after beating the monstrosity at the end...don't want to waste it for people who haven't played...anyway, the last fmv wouldn't show. So now i don't know the ending. I had every gf except for one and thats doomtrain...didn't feel like getting him. Anyway i get a brand new ff8 put it in my computer and all i get is the intrance and the new-continue screen. After hitting new game it goes blank. So i tired copying it...tried everything even clonecd....nothing is working. please help. i don't have more blank cd's to waste

my computer

Windows xp
256 ram
128 NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440
i guess everything else is generic

anyway my emulator
epsxe
Pete's DX6 D3D Driver 1.73
ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2
and i tired nice, and fast. neither one got me farther

please help

If you want to extract the movie from the disc, there should be some apps here at NGEmu to do that.

what CD rom plugin are you using? try using Sapu's, it's extremely easy to configure and it works very well....make sure your CD isnt scratched either

thanks all of you but i guess i will never play it. I mean my computer won't even read the disk after i hit x to start new game. and i have tried every cd drive plugin. I mean everyone

Does it matter what ff8 you got, cuase i have the one thats ntsc and the cover is white
