Okay, heres a familiar problem but with a twist.
I'd like some info on how to play ISO's, but with cd audio tracks that are played for the game. Some examples might be Twisted Metal 2, and the title screen of Tactics Ogre. The game itself plays fine, except there is no audio. I've used CloneCD to create the images and extracted the sub-channel info. I have CDDA sound enabled in the sound plug-in config. Edit: I use Eternal SPU v. 1.41 for audio plug-in. If such a proposal isn't currently possible, would a virtual drive such as Daemon-Tools be the only way to actually accomplish this? Thanks! |

Re: playing ISOs, but with cd audio
Yes, I think that you have to use Daemon-Tools.

Re: playing ISOs, but with cd audio
Or use mooby cdr plugin to run your iso.

Re: playing ISOs, but with cd audio
Yeah, DAEMON Tools and Mooby CDR works, althought not perfectly. Some sounds/speech are played a little slower and you can hear some slight distortion, but hey, at least you can hear them. ePSXe 1.5.0 (with DAEMON Tools or Mooby CDR) somehow manages to handle such issues better, compared to ePSXe 1.5.2 (and maybe 1.6.0).

Re: playing ISOs, but with cd audio
Make sure you have a cue sheet that points to the iso, then either mount it with daemon tools( using the cue sheet), or mooby's.

Re: playing ISOs, but with cd audio
Oh, if you are using mooby's make sure the cue sheet has the same name of the iso and is in the same directory and turn the CDDA sound up.
