about the animation of FF8

when I was running FF8,all is ok except the playing of the animation.The animation can not be run frequently,a lot of show pause occurred.how can I solve the problem.
configuration
Plugin: Pete's D3D Driver 1.1.58
GFX card: NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 Model 64/Model 64 Pro

Resolution/Color:
- 800x600 Window mode

Textures:
- R8G8A8A8
- Filtering: 3
- Garbage collection: on
- VRam size: 32 MBytes

Framerate:
- FPS limit: on
- Frame skipping: on
- FPS limit: 60

Compatibility:
- Offscreen drawing: 2
- Framebuffer texture: 0
- Alpha multipass: on
- Mask bit: off
- Advanced blending: none

Misc:
- Scanlines: off [0]
- Unfiltered FB: on
- Dithering: off
- Screen smoothing: off
- Full vram: off
- Game fixes: off [00000000]

Does the problem have something to do with the processor
my computer is very low ,celeron 400
can anyone be kind to tell me how to solve the problem?

hmm. I'd guess at one of two things. Firstly you have frame skipping enabled. That mightcause the FMV to skip a bit, but I've never used it so I cannot say for sure. Problem there is with a machine of such specs you probs need it enabled to get decent peformance elsewhere.... You could try enabling/disabling it in game for those sequences.

Another thing to try would be to run it from a HDD image file.

it maybe the frame skipping... turn it off.
