Valkyrie Profile

Anyone got this problem?
In chapter 3 during Yumei's introduction, right after Fuyuki picked up the Cerulean Lapis she dropped, there's a short dialogue with voice. "Fuyuki, if you found the Cerulean Lapis what would you wish for?" "A splendid new ship?" "No!!" This section is what the problem is, I can't seem to get pass "No!!" and at times when I reload, there isn't any voice at all form the begining causing the game to stop there ... the game does not hang up but it just won't go on. Anyone know how to fix this?

Ah, nevermind, I found the problem .. it was Save State that caused the problem. I saved the game as normal and restarted epsxe and load the save file and worked.

Just adding one thing, don't use savestates with Valkyrie Profile or you'll bump into these kind of problems often.

you can use save states, just not when the little Cd-retry icon is at the bottom right of the screen.

I never get that "little CD icon" anyway, perhaps using ISO prevent or at least lower the chance of appearing?

Savestates when you're in a long conversation, because VP mostlikely crashed.

the little CD-retry icon appears when you just remove the CD when you are in the middle of an event for example.
Another glitch ? I found was trying to use the big magic for Sacred Javelin .. the game totally crashed out .. there was an error msg in the command prompt but I didn't note it down. anyone got that problem?

Usually this means a scratched CD. Have you tried running the game from an ISO?

Hmm.. i see .. well I have never tried using ISO .. honestly I dont know how to create one .. well, I think it's a minor problem .. ?
