smackdown 2 for ps1

the video sttings are under fast defult. its the open gl one he game play /video is excellent fast movement . but the sound is a little off. a echo when certain words come out. and the sound im dooing is eternal spu plug 1.41. all fouir on the front are highlighted.
i got direct sound highlighted ----------buffersize 77
audio out method spuasync
async mode simple
spu irq- wait for cpu action.
and reverbs is nelli.
also i think alott of my gameing prob is sound and im running these from
cdr.

i just dont think my dvd player is running at the right speed how do i get it to run at the right speed.
specs is 2.00 gig pent 4
512 ram
gforce 4 64 mtx
sound blast live audio card
40 gig hd

also with each game do you have to change drivers and such?

great ty i chan,now the sound , video and game play are crisp ,but,still a slight echo.
Now i want to fine tune the graphics.There a little blocky. Is that the pixal or fram buffer or 16 - 32?

Is there guild lines i should take? For example, if so and so happeneds always do this ! So i dont have to post, and, for my benifet and learning. ty
