muss ich die original-cd im laufwerk haben...kann ich mir aber eigentlich nicht vorstellen, denn wozu sonst der ganze aufwand?

und wenn eben nicht, dann die 2. frage....wo zum teufel bekommt man die roms für den emulator her?

Using my rough newly gained knowledge of german (I started learning it this tuesday ), I would say that the guy is asking for ROMs to epsxe (and he's also wondering what's the purpose of the emulator if not for the roms, or something like this).
Trying to translate his post has showed me that I still have much to learn

Sorry...somehow I just forgot to read the forum rules.
please pardon me for my bad english...I try to translate my question as good as possible (n_w95482 already translated my question pretty good). OK the fact is (you'll be laughing about me)
that I've got no idea how the epsxe works...do I have to possess (have) the original playstation games to run them on epsxe?
I thought that it would be quiet sensless to buy the original PSX games just to run them on the pc...
There must be a internet site where you can possibly download roms for the emulator. Maybe.
I downloaded an emulator for the SNES and therefor you just have to download the games you want to play. I found the epsxe in the internet because I always wanted to play Final Fantasy IX...Final Fantasy VII, VIII and X I bought but some how I missed the 9th part.
I hope you understand my problem now and I'd be very greatfull for any help...thx folks!!!!

Plan is german slang and means idea... it has nothing to do with flat :-)

Well, if you've read the rules I think you know that ROM / warez and such illegal material download is forbidden here. We're even NOT possible to talk about such a thing. You better forget it.

Second, altough ePSXe can run ISO [that you called "ROM"]. I still recommended you to buy the original CD anyway. It worth, trust me. You don't even need to buy the PSX, just the game CD.

FFVII-IX are playable in ePSXe, just need some configuration before you can play it flewessly. For FFX, there is no emulator available to run it. The most promising PS2 emu available right now, PCSX2 still under development and only run demo disc and some parts of opening game.

The emu s legal... ish. ROMs and ISO beggin is not.
End of discussion. If you want isos and roms go elsewhere.
