Re: yet another ff9 problem

No, I guess that it doesn't like that fog effect very much. These black lines are in fact the edges of the landscape polygons. You'll either have to live with it or get a new gfx card.

BTW: Did you test other plugins?

Re: yet another ff9 problem

Really? Does it crash ePSXe? If yes, start it in Windowed mode and switch to fullscreen afterwards (Alt+Return).

No, I meant Pete's OGL or D3D6 plugin. These might give you better results.

Re: yet another ff9 problem

I don't know if savage cards has those eyecandy effects, but have you any aa or af enabled? if so, get rid of it. Try playing with the filtering.

Re: yet another ff9 problem

AA=Anti Aliasing - Gets rid of jaggy lines
AF= Anistropic Filtering - Makes textures clearer and more sharp.

Re: yet another ff9 problem

well i was able to run peops in full screen... and as expected it ran without the borders. But, the graphics where very pixelated in 640x480 mode and if i enabled some filtering it would slow quite a lot
Is there a way to put it with semi decent graphics at a semi decent speed that isnt setting it at 320x240?

EDIT: Maybe something for telling Pete. Every time I start playing with peops plugin if opera web browser its open it crashes

Re: yet another ff9 problem

The PSX in fact renders 3D scenes in 320*200...

I don't believe that it is possible to write a HW-SW-Mix plugin.
