FF9 CD patch

Well, I need a CD patch for the us version of FF9 (what happend to the patch section on Ngemu?)

I guess I will have a lot of "fun" with that game.

There is a workaround for that: use peops to make an sbi file. From what i heard, you can use subchannel caching with internal plugin as well. And i bet CDRMooby, wich can read isos, can use the subchannel file made with clonecd for the same purpose.

Than I wonder why I can't get this thing to run with PSXeven. I use my standard settings (Pete's D3D GPU, Eternal SPU, ASPI CDR) wich runs every game normaly. Whats wrong?

Settings look good. Are you sure you are using the US version?

Well, have you try playing it with the cd? Try that.
And I use Peops S. cdr driver 1.2 with an iso image (through vdrive), it works fine.

Your problem is weird though.

tried Peops S. cdr driver, didn't worked. Hmh, I just mentioned that I could not be sure if its really NTSC because of here not explained reasons. I can't use a burner, yet. What do you recommend?

I recommend you tell us if you actually bought the game. Cause the country version should be visible on the case or CD..

Ok, tried installing latest D3D patch 1.72, didn't work. Tried using subchannel, didn't work... :frown:
