FF8 cinematics messed up
For some reason when I play FF8 the cinematic seines are all choppy... Im running the game of the original game cd, I thought maybe this has something to do with my cdrom not reading at the right speed or something. I don't know, any ideas how I can fix that?
Oh, and do ISO games run smoother than off a cd? |

Re: FF8 cinematics messed up
Can you told us your computer spesifications and the plugins + setting you're using to play FF8?
ISO only help to run it faster, load faster not smoother. Smoother depends on the graphic setting. |

Yes, games will generally run better off an ISO than with a CD.
As for the slow framerates, check the settings of you graphics plugin. Certain options--like screen smoothing and 2xsai, among others--are demanding on your hardware. You might have FSAA enabled as well; you can disable or lessen this to save some frames.

Re: FF8 cinematics messed up
Using an iso will help greatly in fmv's. Using a good, wel configured cd plugin will help also. Peops cdr plugin is a good option, async (w95/98/me) or thread (2000/xp) read options will make videos a lot smoother. But again, give a detailed description of your problem, and your specs + plugins + configs.
