Mortal Kombat 3

Hi,
I have a problem with MK3 which launches perfectly but blocks when fights begin. The sound works and the graphics load but the characters don't move. I think I tried it with most of the GPU and CDR plugins. Is there any known solution ? Thank you very much.

I have the same problem, followed the iso guides, but just before the fight starts it sticks saying round 1, but not frozen. I'm pretty sure the game is looking for a vocal from a cd track.

Dont revive old threads. If you have something to ask make your own thread! Read the FAQ!

Moderators please close this thread

What does the date of the thread matter, it's the same problem that's the point.

You should get banned, asking me to break the rule of creating duplicate threads, haha.

What am I not allowed to post on this forum?
At the very least, the following topics/types of posts are prohibited:

* Illegally-obtained commercial material
* Flame wars
* Adult material
* Spam
* Duplicate threads

Rockfire, you're not a mod/admin, so stop acting like one. don't ask moderators to close a thread, we'll do it when/if we feel it's appropriate. it's fine to point out the rules, but don't act like you have any authority. NGEmu is pretty lenient; there are a few forums i know where regular members are not allowed to point out/mention the rules or anything like that at all.

Torico, i don't know where you got that no duplicate threads thing. admittedly, the rules are a bit confusing.

Only one thread per question please. This allows us to follow up on other's replies.
which sort of addresses your duplicate threads idea. but then again, does that mean that for every question you should keep making new threads? not really. every user should make his or her own threads and keep relevant questions in there. for example, you could make a MK3 thread about your current problem. and let's say the next day you have a new problem...well you'd just post it in the same thread.

Don't revive long dead threads unless they are relevant to a problem you are having.
which i'm now going to change, because it is the common policy here to make your own thread, no matter how similar the original problem is. it's a good idea to make your own thread and then link back to the original.

well anyway, as long as we're here...did you read the link that Rockfire posted?

Ah k hushypushy I clicked on that FAQ that's next to User CP, must be a different set of rules hehe. I went through the troubleshooting FAQ, I managed to fix the problem, the game relies on CDDA to work, so I mounted the ISO with the mooby cdrom plugin and that did it.

and yet the problem persists..........AMD 600mhz 256 ram and it freezes at "ROUND 1".

FOUND IT!!!

dont use daemon tools or any other mounting device application, use mooby since it uses the same "mount image" option, It runs perfectly now!!!
