With both FF6 and CTrigger (I assume here the same problem has the same solution) there was an odd flicker - FF6 in battle, Trigger all the time - where the background greys for a second or so and I couldn't input commands until it goes back to normal.
It suddenly disappeared, and while I'm understandably delighted, I'd like to know why it happened in the first place. Could it have to do with changing the XA settings? I recently had a problem with no sound in movies, but changed the XA settings so they played sound (I have NO idea why this option isn't default). Last time I tried these games was with XA no sound. Or is it due to the soft driver? I admit I gave up on both games when they wouldn't work. I have a SNES emulator, but I did really want those special features. And Biggs, I guess. Also, how the hell did Kane get over 10000 posts in about 2 years?

Post your plugins and their specs plz....
BTW, Make sure u use a 2d plugin like PEOPS, it works better than others for that type of games. As for Kane... I guess he made a program that emulated his mind, so this digital clone would live in every forum he's in and he/it could reply to every post 3 secs after it was made... now that i think it... how it comes that i was able to reply earlier than him? Tell me why, im confused

I would have, but I felt the cause would have been easy enough to tell without the specs. Oh well, here they are:
AMD Ath 1.4, Win2KPro, TNT2 ![]() Plugin: P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.1.2 Author: Pete Bernert and the P.E.Op.S. team Resolution/Color: - 800x600 Fullscreen - [16 Bit] Framerate: - FPS limit: on - Frame skipping: off - FPS limit: 50 Misc: - Scanlines: disabled - Game fixes: off [00000000] I can give you sound info if you want it. Kane where have you gone?

enable the 'odd/even bit hack' special fix, then enable special fixes. It may help, or may not, but it's supposed to be necesary for epsxe until the next version is out.

I'm here. The odd/even hack is meant to be for games that hang prior to the next version of ePSXe which isn't out yet. vSync would be my guess, but I really don't have hte foggiest.
