FF9 movie sound problem

ok. I am having problems with the movies having smooth sound. I tried every spu that I have and the only one that makes the sound in the movies smooth is the spu core. (the one that came with epsxe) It sounds like when your under water or something. to put it simply. It skips alot every 2 secs. Even on an iso it does it. I'm using the latest eternal spu plugin.

If theres anything else you want me to add to my sig. I might add it since my system specs are on their.

oh and lord kane. you need to update your website on epsxe config with the new plugins.

Have you spu irq hack enabled (config->sound)? If yes, disable it.

The intro has to, because it uses some sort of MIDI music instead of streamed audio.

The SPU IRQ hack has to be disabled for smooth XA playing, SPUAsync->Wait is also a good way to make MDECs have smooth sounds (you should disable any frame limitation/skipping options in your gfx plugin and increase your sound buffer a bit).

Also take a look on www.ngemu.com/kane for some gfx plugin config info.

and i'm thinking... that with your specs and plugins settings is your sig? It's waaaaaaaay too big, that would get you trouble with admins...

is there a way to make it smaller then so that everyone knows what my specs are and I don't have to type them in?

No, just erase that and put some prhase or something. When that space was provided for specs it was intended to be something like: p4 2.50 ghz, 256 ram, sound blaster card and geforce 4 ti4200.

The sig is supposed to have less than 6 lines, you may find it has disappeared someday man. A posibility is posting a web page somewhere (geocities or so), and then putting a link to it as your sig.

Yeah, that was way OTT. You can put your computer specs in there, but please not the entire GPU config.
