Problems with FF7 and with music in all games
Hi there. I'm having problems with a real version of FF7 PSX that I'm trying to play with my PC ( i sold my psx). i load it up with epsxe and it gives me the "sony computer entertainment america presents" screen and nothing more. i'm using 1.5.2. and i havent changed anything away from the default settings except to limit the FPS. i have a geforce 4 mx 420 64mb card and i'm using pete's psx open gl.
also in most of the games i try to play there is no music at all. there are sound effects, but just no music. i'm using Pete's DSound driver 1.15. i dont have a flashy soundcard or anything. thanks in advance. |

Myself, I'm using P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.12, and Final Fantasy 7 works absolutely flawlessly with it. I never got that battle swirl to work with Pete's OpenGL Driver, but with P.E.Op.S. there's no problem whatsoever. Sure, you'll get no high resulotion 3D graphics with it, but on the other hand, there are no glitches either. It's like on a real PSX, nothing more, nothing less.
Oh, and I'm using Eternal SPU 1.40 too. |

Enable the top three options in the sound config panel, and use Eternal 1.40 SPU with the first game fix enabled.
